It is my pleasure in writing to whole-heartedly recommend Cathy Jo Demcak as missionary to the people of Colombia. God has burdened her heart to reach the Colombian people with the Gospel and to work as part of a church planting team in this vast country. We have had the opportunity to work side by side with Cathy Jo on several BIMI Connect Trips where she participated with our mission teams in the Amazon Basin. Cathy has extensive on-the-field training serving in her home church and later completed an internship in Colombia with one of our missionary families. She has been a blessing wherever she has served and has captured the hearts of the people. In a world where hearts are hardened and laborers are few, it is encouraging to find a servant with a sensitive spirit and a sincere desire to follow the Lord. These are exactlv the traits I see in Cathy Jo. All of these qualities make Ms. Demcak one of the best missionaries to support. I met Cathy Jo on a medical missions trip in the Amazon Basin a few years ago. I knew right away that she had a special heart to serve the Lord. I have since gotten to know her better and had the opportunity to watch her serve both Stateside and abroad. She is steady and faithful, as well as compassionate, focused and independent.
